Chocolate Education Kit
Our Chocolate Educational kit includes 1 kilo (approx. 2.2 lbs) of cocoa beans, 1 whole pod and 1 open pod empty. Beans are fully fermented and can be roasted and peeled for eating raw or grinding into chocolate paste for tasting. We recommend roasting the beans at a minimum 225 F for at least 20 minutes to kill off possible bacteria. Also includes a fun and educational sheet about chocolate and cocoa. Great for the classroom.
We recommend you do not grind beans in a blender or food processor as beans are too hard and will burn out your motor. They can be ground in a lab grinder or placed in a stone mill or melangeur to make chocolate paste.
